Throbbing engines and flashing lights set the scene for the hypnotic movements of Angelin Preljocaj’s HELIKOPTER/LICHT, set to music from Karlheinz Stockhausen and Laurent Garnier. In this see-saw between the past and the future, he bids us to pass through the storm and dance with the oncoming world together. An electrifying diptych but above all, a sensory experience.

This combination is revealed to be of a most majestic beauty, demanding dance to raise its head, and raise the roof too so it will not be crushed to nothing.
