Leïla Ka’s new creation frees up the bodies and breath of eight women and celebrates the unsinkability of female power. This explosive dance marshals a visceral energy carried by throbbing bass and electro and sculpted by moving lights in a spare space. We can hear the shared cry of women who are no longer held, but free.
