Erwan Jean-Pouvreau was born in Saint-Cloud. He started ballet dancing at the Niedermeyer Conservatory (in Issy-les-Moulineaux, near Paris) when he was 12. Then, he joined the Regional Conservatory of Boulogne Billancourt in 2011 to study jazz and ballet dancing. In 2015, he entered the Regional Conservatory of Paris before getting in the Rudra Béjart Ballet School in Lausanne where he participated in a creation. He joined the Ballet Prelocaj in July 2019.
