Born in France in 2004, Nicolas Mariot began his training at the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille, then continued at the École du Ballet de Paris Stanlowa. In 2021, he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he developed his classical technique and performed in works such as Trisha Brown x100, Rudolf Nureyev’s Swan Lake, and Jerome Robbins’ West Side Story. He later joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, where he specialized in contemporary dance. In 2024, he choreographed Ce que les ombres deviennent, a commissioned work for the Karolinenfest Festival in Germany. At the same time, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Literature, and Philosophy from Paris Nanterre University. He joined Ballet Preljocaj Junior in September 2025.
