After Hope hunt, The Ascension into Lazarus, Lady Magma and Navy Blue, Irish artist Oona Doherty returns to Aix-en-Provence to work on the creation of her new piece Specky Clark, an autobiographical fiction blended with Irish folk traditions.
Trained at the London School of Contemporary Dance and the Laban Centre in London, Oona Doherty has been creating, collaborating and performing internationally since 2010. In 2016 she created her internationally acclaimed solo Hope hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus. Associate artist at the Maison de la danse in Lyon in 2017-2018 and at the Briqueterie in Paris in 2017-2019, her work is physical theater with a sharp eye on society.
Oona Doherty will present her creation at the Pavillon Noir on Thursday 23 November 2023 at 6pm.
