Born in France in 1999, Valen Rivat-Fournier studied classical and contemporary dance at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse du Tarn, alongside hip-hop, dancehall and jazz at the Case à Danse school in Albi. In 2017, after obtaining his baccalauréat, he studied for 4 years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, performing pieces by Noé Soulier, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Lucinda Childs. In 2021, he joined the Ballet Preljocaj Junior, then the G.U.I.D before joining the Ballet Preljocaj in 2023.
