For the Ballet Preljocaj Junior, Anna Chirescu creates a new work inspired by the overture to Zaïs by Rameau—a mesmerizing vision of the world’s emergence from primordial chaos. Suspended between contemporary musical reinvention and Baroque virtuosity, the piece unfolds as a dance of impulse and awakening, where the young performers embody a world in the very act of coming into being.
