Arthur Perole offers himself up without filter in a solo imagined like a ritual around the question of gender and identity. In a visceral struggle, he fights with his whole body, which is both receptacle and sound box for all his emotions. The choreographer offers himself to everyone directly and without false modesty in a succession of jerks, slow-downs and abrupt breaks. With a live score by Marcos Vivaldi.
An artistic party that ressembles a fairground! Equipped with Silent Party headphones, the public wanders from carousel to stand, taking part in Kabaretto, listening to BBBradio, singing at the top of their lungs at Karaolove, playing the dating game BBBmeet, dancing to the many hits of our discos… until the end of the night thanks to Marcos Vivaldi’s final DJ set!
With CieF, which he founded in 2010, Arthur Perole explores forms of relationships between choreographer, dancer and audience by focusing on togetherness and gathering. Nearly 10 pieces have been created in this way. He also collaborates in theatre with Vincent Goethals, Wajdi Mouawad, Edith Amsellem and in film with Pascal Catheland. He is an associate artist of the Ballet Preljocaj for the 2022-2023 season.
