DANCE AND A.I.
The Ballet Preljocaj and the Biennale of Digital Imaginaries, are joining forces for an evening where dance meets artificial intelligence. Two pieces with the same spin, that of a world where man and machine are one.

In her piece, Christine Armanger brings three hybrid creatures and a robotic dog together in a fascinating and disturbing entity. Here, the devil has a different face. She plays with both medieval and algorithmic references and the stage becomes a ritual where desire, traps and illusions meld. Could it be that our data are already feeding our demons?
Liz Santoro’s new piece blurs another border, the one where truth begins or ends. It tells the tale of a life in movement but contaminated by artificial intelligence. Are these memories real or generated? Are the movements human or machine-calculated? The piece drifts towards autobiographical fiction where the body becomes a territory of uncertainty.
