The Italian duo bring us a hypnotic, choreographed ceremonial where the flag becomes a tool of power and disappearance. The bodies appear to be either multiplied or swallowed up by the fabric, oscillating between strength and utter extinction. Their beautiful, solemn play on shadows and movement also manages to poke fun at official celebrations and demonstrations of power.
