Harris Gkekas creates a new opus for 8 dancers, like danced speech evoking without hierarchy the immense, the miniscule, the instinctive, the primative. Renato Zanella’s piece pays tribute to Nino Rota: through movement, the dancers seek what the Italian composer’s music has to offer future generations. Finally, dancers from the La Scala Academy in Milan will present a duet from the classic repertoire. Time stands still!
