Born in Marrakech, Taoufinq Izeddiou studied architecture before turning to dance. Meeting Berbardo Montet allowed him to start his professional career in 1997.
In 2000, he created his first choreography. The next year, he founded the Anania Company, first contemporary company in Morrocco. In 2003, he created the first formation in contemporary dancing, Al Mokhtabar I (the laboratory), in Morrocco. He created 9 plays, including Botéro en Orient in 2019.
Taoufiq Izeddiou worked with the six dancers of the Ballet Preljocaj Junior. A piece of work was presented at the Pavillon Noir in November 2019 and in Marrakech as part of the Biennale de la Danse en Afrique and of the Festival On marche in March 2020.
