Verity Jacobsen

Verity Jacobsen was born in Sydney, Australia. After three years of studying at the New Zealand School of Dance, she graduated with a National Diploma in Dance Performance in 2007. Since graduating, Verity has worked extensively with Daniel Belton and Good Company Arts on shows and films such as Time Dance, ATO Miss, 2nd Movement and Stitchbirds as well as assisting as a movement coach with the Royal New Zealand Ballet in 2014. She has also worked with choreographers such as Dean Walsh, Vicki Van Hout, Fiona Malone and Malia Johnson. Most recently, she toured with Empire of the Sun on their Asian and American Tour of Ice On The Dune. In 2013, she was chosen to dance in Angelin Preljocaj’s new creation The Nights. She joined Ballet Preljocaj in 2015.
