Way back in 1989, Noces already contained Angelin Preljocaj’s whole alphabet: casting light and shadow on dancing bodies, the radiating shine of the performers and the omnipresence of the music. Six years later, the female duet Annonciation reveals itself in a face-to-face full of contrasts. Today, Angelin Preljocaj creates five variations with the collective 79D. A repertoire evening, between past and present.
