In Les Jolies Choses, Catherine Gaudet goes straight to the essential: movement. Minimalist, synchronised, pulsating. The Montreal choreographer leads her dancers on a true physical challenge, to metronomic precision. Hypnotic, the piece both imprisons the dancers through its well-oiled mechanics and invites them to free themselves from the constraints imposed: a true feat!
